Routine Maintenance that you shouldn't overlook
Every 100 Hours or Annually
- Change engine oil and oil filter (Especially in the fall)
- Change drive unit oil
- Replace water/ fuel separating fuel filter
- Check steering system and remote control - lubricate cables
- Check continuity circuit
- Clean flame arrestor
- Inspect condition and tension of belts
Every 100 Hours or 2 Years
- Inspect U-Joints, splines, and bellows
- Replace seawater pump and engine Coupler
- All Bravos
- All Volvos
- 1990 & Older Alphas
- Check engine alignment
- Lubricate gimbal bearing
Every 200 Hours or 3 Years
- Check engine mount
- Check distributor cap
- Replace seawater pump
- 1991 and Newer GEN II
- OMC Stringer Mount
- Check electrical system
- Check cooling system and exhaust system hose clamps
Trailer Tune-up Every 3 Years
- Inspect bearings and seals
- Inspect brakes / coupler
- Winch Strap
- Lights
- Tire Condition
